Reclaiming Tradition Witchcamps

Reclaiming Witchcamps are weeklong experiences offered by Reclaiming Tradition teachers and organizers to train women and men interested in strengthening their skills as witches. While each camp has its own special flavor and theme, the experience typically involves 5-6 mornings of teaching and learning in a path of the camper's choice, followed by meetings, leisure time, and optional offerings during the afternoons, and a large community ritual most evenings, where up to 100 witches come together to work magic and raise power with dancing, chanting and song.

Here is a map of North American Witchcamp locations.

There are also camps in England and Germany.

  1. Avalon (England): This camp is held near Glastonbury, England.

  2. BC (British Columbia): This is the home camp for many of us. Camp takes place late every July in a beautiful, wooded setting with a lake, about an hour east of Vancouver, BC.

  3. California: This camp is located in northern California, in the beautiful Mendocino woodlands area.

  4. Gespinnst: German Witchcamp: Gespinnst is a German-English network that developed from the 1988 Germany witchcamp. Gespinnst offers rituals, workshops, witchcamp, and more.

  5. Missouri / MidWest Camp: This beautiful piece of land in rural Missouri is home to a mystery school during other parts of the year. Dreamweaving puts on an annual witchcamp in this gloriously secluded location.

  6. Spiral Heart/Mid-Atlantic: This group offers classes, workshops, and witchcamp near Washington, D.C.

  7. Texas/Tejas Web: Texas offers Samhain camp. Look at all the other activities sponsored by this busy group.

  8. Vermont: Vermont has added a new website! This is a hilly and rustic camp, and draws a faithful crowd from the northeast, and the Canadian provinces.
