• Several activists organized a Summer Solstice Ritual on Mt. Tabor
• The Billionaires for Bush Attended the Northwest Republican Leadership Conference (see photo above)
• A group led a mummer's play to remind others of the waste and destruction of war

WHO WE ARE

We are a cluster of local Reclaiming witches who have a strong interest in social justice and magic, and the places where these two forces intersect. We use activism, magic, laughter, and good communication to help bring about social, political, economic, and environmental change.

OUR BASIC PRINCIPLES

These points provide an overview of the general principles and values we use as a foundation for our work. This list may change in the future as a result of expanding cluster membership.

• we are based in the Reclaiming tradition of witchcraft
• we focus on magical activism, which uses our skills as witches
• we work to alter the structures of power through both inner and outer work
• we are committed to the practice of nonviolence and support each others' safety
• we create graphic, powerful events that are clear and capture attention
• we model sustainability and balance
• we share leadership and welcome involvement
• we follow up our actions with communication and feedback

In general, we share a concern about the ill effects of globalization and corporate power on human beings and the natural environment. Our primary interest is in using our skills as witches to help bring about social justice, and in the process, to become stronger at our craft. This is highly creative and inspiring work, and we encourage you to join us.
